Stamping

PRECISE AND EFFICIENT

Our innovative approach to tooling design enables us to
produce stamped parts that would be impossible for any
other facility to manufacture. We are extremely proud of our
ability to stamp conical and spherical shaped washers. For
most applications, this type of robust washer can only be
produced in one of two ways: as a machined part, which is
costly and time consuming; or through the utilization of
sintered or powdered metal, which sacrifices strength,
durability and part integrity.
By means of our proprietary process, we stamp millions of
conical and spherical shaped washers annually, hardened and
plated, with tolerances of 1/1000th of an inch [0.025mm].
This eliminates the need for any other additional machining or
finishing process, a considerable cost savings to our
customers.

MACHINING v. STAMPING

For mid to high volume production runs, stamping is typically
the most effective and efficient method of production. If your
annual production requirements are 5,000 pieces or more,
stamping is likely your best option for manufacturing. As for
part specifications, Ontario Stamping will supply parts that
adhere to those machining tolerances.

WE ARE CAPABLE

Ontario Stamping has the capability to produce stampings on
a wide variety of presses, from 40 to 300 Ton, utilizing up to ¼”
thick by 12” wide material. We offer a complete finished
product, through our network of metal finishing partners.
On-demand product assembly is also available.
We have ample capacity, housing over 30 presses in our
modern 75,000 square foot facility. Our workforce is skilled,
experienced and nimble; our in house tool shop produces and
maintains all tooling and fixturing for production, increasing
our productivity and versatility. With our Perpetual Tooling
Maintenance Program, our customers never receive an
invoice for tooling repair; we absorb this cost in our
manufacturing program.
